All my life, people have told me about their God

Your God wants you

Silent

Your god has always sought to silence its followers. Free speech invites free thought, and free thought sparks doubt in the divine. Threatened by independence, your god weaves oppression into its teachings, numbing its followers to the weight of having their voices muted.

Your God wants you

Self-loathing

The more you love yourself, the less room there is to love your god. Authenticity finds no place within its work. Dare not be yourself, for you are branded in sin. Your god shames, teaching self-hatred as a tool to keep you docile and obedient.

Your God wants you

Heartless

You need no heart for your god decides what is worthy of love. You will love only what your god commands. Pay no mind to those cast beyond that circle. Your god warps your morality, as you condemn your neighbors to eternal fire for daring to fall outside his love.

Your God wants you

Oblivious

Dismiss the truths of others for your god is the only truth. Turn your eyes from the murders and the terror carried out in his name. Forget the children slaughtered, the wars ignited, the bombs unleashed, the hatred poured upon the world, all while your god demands your blind obedience.

Your God wants you

Begging

Surrender your power to god. Take no action—for nothing is in your control. All you can do is beg. Beg for better days. Beg for strength to overcome. Beg for peace to touch the suffering. Your moral compass points to god, not to action. And still your prayers go unheard, as you whisper to a deaf god.

Your God wants to

Kill You

Description

Your God wants your

Future

Your god lays claim to your greatest asset, your very life. He demands your time, your future, your every breath. All must be surrendered to him. Live the life he dictates, and you are promised happiness. Do not chase your dreams. Do not stray into sin. Live only as your god deems righteous.

Your God is Dead

Your god is dead.

The god you worship feeds on death, oppression, and human suffering. Your prayers arrive only at a graveyard, buried beside the very values your god once claimed to uphold.
